About the coffee:

Because of its high elevations, rich fertile soil, and ideal temperature, the Bensa district in Sidama, Ethiopia, has become known for producing top-notch coffee beans. So that this location allowing cherries to develop densely, resulting in full of spicy, fruity, sweet juicy, nectar and coffee blossom flavors. Kokese is one of the locations in the Bensa district. A major economic activity and the main source of income for residents is coffee production.

Mr. Basha is one of sidama area a farmer in Ethiopia. Mr. Basha Bekele has six main coffee processing stations in the Sidama Region Bansa zones, those are Bombe, Bonjobe, Bode, Kokose, Murago and Shantawene, which are family-owned "garden farms" . Other natural tree species in the area include Birbira, Wanza, and Acacia, promoting soil fertility and controlling erosion.

The Kokose station employed a natural drying process, which requires frequent stirring to avoid the growth of mould and takes three to five weeks to dry based upon climatic condition.
